NYC’s Harvest Home Farmer's Market is bringing local fresh food to the food deserts of the city--the low-income communities. By pairing with classes on how to incorporate these fresh options into their diets, their constituents can create healthier lifestyles for their families. Only problem--to make this happen required a lot of paper forms, emails, and interactions with farmers, city officials, volunteers, and constituents. And they still have to raise money and want to add more market locations.
How do you juggle all those apples and still focus your resources on the mission? This was the challenge Harvest Home brought to SocialRaise.
