The Music Educators Marketplace was originally launched in 1998 by six independent music teachers who wanted to make their music education products available online to other educators. When they met the SocialRaise team a few years later, they had three issues:
1) Not enough contributors to cover all the potential music education topics for current customers;
2) Limited awareness of the marketplace among music educators; and,
3) Once a music teacher did find them, it was too difficult to make a purchase.
SocialRaise created a content-driven campaign strategy to re-launch the Marketplace and reach their targeted audience. The messages had been specifically constructed to convey both the overall value of the marketplace’s offerings to teaching consumers; AND, the solicitation of additional unique educator contributors. The buying experience improvement was a straightforward fix with SocialRaise’s experience understanding how people prefer to buy online.
Music Educators Marketplace’s re-launch has had great results: over 50 educators now contribute their materials and it is the “go to” resource for music education products—music to the ears of those educators and SocialRaise.
